I am married to a man who has been a Type 1 diabetic for over 30 years. He also has sleep apnea, spinal stenosis, neuropathy, gastroparesis, and retinopathy. He has had triple bypass surgery and a kidney transplant (I was the living donor). Because of his high and low blood sugars, mood swings are a constant concern. Some days, I just want some semblance of "normal" in my life!

Really missing you!
Dear newtothis:
Hope all is all right with you. I miss your blog, your insight, and your sense of humor. Take care, and know you are in my prayers.
Lilly
Sweet Lilly,
ReplyDeleteIt's comforting to know the missing are not forgotten.
Like Crazy Wife recently having to disappear, several time in my life I've had to disappear as well.
Human nature is to survive, even if it's against the odds; against those seemingly so much stronger than ourselves.
I personally believe nothing is stronger than Love: Stronger than God.
Retreat in not always a declaration of defeat.
At times it's just a period to lick our wounds so we may fight another day in a venue better suited for our own personal victory.

Anonymous Wife,
ReplyDeleteHow very well said! Thank you.
Take care,
